Couple lines
Every line here is an Egyptian phrase carried into English word for word. Said in Cairo, each one is affection. Read off a chest in English, each one is a threat, a medical note, or a lie. One of you wears the offer and one of you wears the reply.
Each block below is a single exchange: he says the top half, she answers on the other side of the diagonal. The two halves print on the two cottons we stock, so a couple standing together is a black shirt and a white one holding one sentence.
