Mocking'U — say it, then take it back

Care and sizing

TOLERANCE ± 1 CM

Measured flat, in centimetres, with a tolerance of one centimetre either way. Chest width is measured across the garment under the arm. Total length runs from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.

Which size

The measurements are of the garment, not of you. Measure a shirt you already like flat across the chest under the arm and match the number. That is more reliable than a size letter, which means a different thing in every country.

The cut is a straight body rather than a tapered one. If you are between two sizes and want it close, take the smaller.

Care

Cold wash inside out. Do not tumble. Iron on the reverse, never on the print.

The print is a raised plastisol. It sits on top of the cotton rather than soaking into it, which is what lets the red stand proud of the cloth and hold its gloss. It also means the print and the fabric want different things: the cotton is happy to be pressed, the print is not. Heat is what ruins it — an iron laid on the letters will soften them and flatten the relief in one pass, and a tumble dryer does the same thing more slowly.

So turn it inside out, wash it cold, and hang it to dry. Press the back of the panel if you press it at all. Handled that way the raised edge stays sharp for the life of the shirt.
